St. Patrick’s Day is next Thursday, and what better city to celebrate the day than just across the river in St. Paul?
St. Paul is known for its Irish heritage, and the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade downtown is a definite bucket list item, and this is the 50th year of the event. Join up to 100,000 of your Twin Cities neighbors at this celebration at noon on Thursday, March 17. Learn more here!
Once you’re done with the St. Paul celebration, head back across the river for the Minneapolis parade! The parade starts at 7:30pm—click here for more information! Or if you’re done with parades for the day, check out Kieran’s Irish Pub in downtown Minneapolis—they’ll have an all-day celebration with live music in a heated outdoor tent.
And when you’ve had your fill at Kieran’s make your way to Brit’s Pub on Nicollet Mall—there you’ll find a happy hour, Minneapolis Police Pipe Band Bagpipers, and live music in the Guinness Lounge.
